(Equisetum arvense)
Horsetail is the last survivor of the Equisetaceae,. Extracts of the plant contain an enzyme not found anywhere else in the plant kingdom, which apparently stops the growth of cells during their aging process. Used as a diuretic and for urinary tract infections, and contains silicon, which may help preserve bone strength. May help skin, bone and hair health, restore general vigor and facilitate weight loss.
